The DHR connects Darjeeling and New Jalpaiguri in West Bengal, India and was primarily built by the English for the transportation of goods. The traffic of goods however decreased drastically after the 2nd World War to stop in the 1990s. It is one of the most magnificent World Heritage Sites of all time.

The DHR operated boogie box cars, often hauled by the D-Class Garratt or B-Class locomotive. The model replicates the boogie wagon after its makeover, when the roofs were replaced due to rusting issues.
Real rivets and angles are used on the models, the brake control is reproduced, the doors are functional and the roof is removable.
They are fitted with milled aluminum DHR 'D' hitch pads and equipped with adjustable gauge wheels for 45 mm or 32 mm gauge rails. Available in the original Oxide Red paint scheme.
